It has been 3 weeks since we left Ethiopia. A lot has happened so it has actually gone by a lot faster than we expected. We had a great Christmas, loved getting to show off the pictures of our boy to everyone! Had a great New Year/anniversary.
We found out that Josh is getting back on AGR (active guard reserve) and that we are moving to Bryan Texas, he will be leaving next weekend. This is a whole lot faster than normal but we are glad that he will be back on active duty before Liam gets home. Things are going to be kind of crazy for us in the next few weeks. Josh is moving, we are hopefully going to pick up our little man in 3-5 weeks, then we will be moving, we put our condo up for rent/sale so hopefully it will do one or the other, Liam and I will be moving to TX.....wow! But God is still in control, He has a plan that is often very different from our own so we just have to trust in Him. Please keep us in your prayers while we transition to living in TX and becoming parents all at the same time.
We are handling the wait but it is not easy, I cannot wait until we can go pick Liam up! I am very excited for everyone to get to meet him and if it is at all possible we are hoping to have a welcome home party for him soon after he gets home.
So excited for you guys! I wish you didn't have to move so far away but you are right, God is in control and He has a beautiful plan for each of us that choose to follow. If Liam will be coming into TN before you move I would REALLY love to meet him. Robbie and I are beginning to talk about adoption and I am very excited about it:) I wish I could make it to your baby shower but doubt I will be able to make it to KY. I will continue to pray for you guys and wish the VERY best for you!
